The most common cancer and the number one cause of cancer deaths among women is breast cancer. Breast cancer is the result of an uncontrolled growth of cell within the breast tissues. If not detected and treated promptly, breast can metastasis, spreading to the lymph glands and other parts of the body including the lungs, bones and liver.
As breast cancer can be easily detected, you can do your bit to ensure that if breast cancer does develop, it can be treated early. Most women with early detected breast cancer go on to outlive their disease to live long, healthy and normal lives.
